Here’s our list of some of the fall knitting classes.

Knitting “Refresher” Bootcamp – 3 hours of relearning
If, you are a previous knitter who wants to rekindle your love for knitting, this class is for you.
We change topics every 15mins… We get you up to speed and ready to knit for fall.
Saturday September 26th from 9am to 12pm = $40.00
Our focus is to provide a concentrated relearning of cast on, cast off, increase, decrease,
read a pattern, understand yarn labels, abbreviations, pick up stitches, buttonholes,
joining yarn, yarn weights,

In in the Round – Time to knit Hats and Cowls – 2 hour class –
MUST know how to knit already. This is NOT a beginner class
Time to learn how to knit in the round and make hats and cowls for everyone.
Wednesday September 30th from 10am to 12pm = $25.00
Please bring practice yarn and 4mm – 5mm needles if you have them
We offer one FREE hat or cowl pattern for you to get started with.


Fair Isle “Mad For Plaid” theme class – 4 hour class – Intermediate level
Thursday October 1st and October 8th from 10am to 12pm = $30.00
Let’s have fun with colour! Learn to knit with more than one colour.
We are creating a Plaid patterned wrap, or mittens, or cowl or??
Learn different techniques to create your family tartan perhaps.

Beginner Felting class – 2 hour class – $25.00
Wednesday October 7th10am to 12pm
Let’s make felted mittens or slippers. Patterns supplied. Discussion on “knit and then felt”.
Each pattern is knit oversize, then “felted” in the washing machine.
Knit a very warm wind proof pair of mittens.
Felted slippers are the perfect cool weather cosy item.
Two perfect items for gift giving.
We will help you choose your yarn and get you started on your project.

Traditional Gansey knitting theme class – 4 hour class Enthusiastic Beginner ++
Thursday October 22nd and October 29th from 10am to 12pm = $30.00
Come learn about traditional British Gansey knitting.
We offer a FREE fingerless or a hat pattern for you to knit.
Homework – have ready to go a 6” swatch still on the needles, ready for working
sample Gansey stitches.


All classes:
All classes must be paid for in advance.
Please arrived 10 minutes early to get settled and grab a coffee.
Please make sure if you are choosing yarns for your projects that you
come in before the class to purchase your yarn and wind it ready to start in class.
Please remember to put your phone on vibrate.
