Beginner Knitting Classes Fall 2015 - Come learn with us!!

Beginner Knitting Class – 2 sessions 4 hours = $52.00

For the absolute beginner - 2 consecutive weeks

Wednesday daytime = Sept. 16th and 23rd - 10am to 12pm
You will learn: setting up the ground work to knit - discussion
cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, cast off, read your pattern
abbreviations, yarn weights, needles, knitting notions, etc…

Cost $52.00 paid in advance by Tuesday Sept 14th.
Class fee includes - instruction book and practice yarn
Materials: need 5mm needles, FREE scarf pattern available to work on
Saturday will be offered at a later date. Please send me your request.

Spring Sweater Knitting

Who's tired of the cold winter winds and ready to knit a great Spring sweater?  Well, I think many of us are ready for those tulips and crocuses to show up.  Have you heard about Joji's Boxy sweater line up? These easy fit fun toknit sweaters have been designed in several styles and yarn weights.  Have a  look...  The Boxy was Joji's first design like this. It has a unique construction with interesting details and lots of easy knitting.  Boxy  is a very simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves. Worked with a lightweight yarn it is very flattering, drapey and stylish!  A little short row section in the shoulders adds an interesting texture to the sleeves.  Directions are given to make a seamless version (worked in the round) or a seamed version (worked back and forth) of the body. Sock Heels  Cute heels :)  How many times have you started to knit socks and  everything's going along just fine then -  you arrive at the heel :( Peptalk = Read and re-read the directions,  I can do this!! - I can do this!!...  Well, your knitting the heel flap, okay not bad and then  comes the dreaded....  "pickup so many stitches along the edge" -  Here comes trouble...  well we have planned the class for you!!
