Knit Swirl Workshop


Have you thought about making a Knit Swirl jacket? Here's your chance under the guidance of Donna B. Her latest version "Sheer Beauty" is just stunning!!
The yarn combo included Rhichard Devrieze " Purl"   http://www.rdyarns.com/  and Fibre Garden lace mohair "Purl"... so breath taking in the off white!! Her first version "Stratosphere" was variegated in pinks and purples - again I could have sold that 6 times while it was showcased in the shop.

Workshop fee: $75.00

Workshop scheduling takes place over several weeks - as follows:

Wednesdays: Feb. 27th @ 10 - 12, Mar 20th and Apr 17th @ 10:30 - 12:00  = 3 classes
Saturdays: Mar 2nd @ 9:30 - 11, Mar 23rd and Apr 20th @ 9:30 - 11:00 = 3 classes

We suggest at time of registration, you choose your yarn(s) so you are ready to start.

We begin the workshop with a discussion about the book by Sandra McIver. We teach you how to read your specific chart and get you started. Over the next two classes, we help you customize your sleeve length and provide you with helpful tips and finishings to complete your swirl.

Who's tired of the cold winter winds and ready to knit a great Spring sweater?  Well, I think many of us are ready for those tulips and crocuses to show up.  Have you heard about Joji's Boxy sweater line up? These easy fit fun toknit sweaters have been designed in several styles and yarn weights.  Have a  look...  The Boxy was Joji's first design like this. It has a unique construction with interesting details and lots of easy knitting.  Boxy  is a very simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves. Worked with a lightweight yarn it is very flattering, drapey and stylish!  A little short row section in the shoulders adds an interesting texture to the sleeves.  Directions are given to make a seamless version (worked in the round) or a seamed version (worked back and forth) of the body. Practising Sock Heel Knitting

Sock Heels  Cute heels :)  How many times have you started to knit socks and  everything's going along just fine then -  you arrive at the heel :( Peptalk = Read and re-read the directions,  I can do this!! - I can do this!!...  Well, your knitting the heel flap, okay not bad and then  comes the dreaded....  "pickup so many stitches along the edge" -  Here comes trouble...  well we have planned the class for you!!
