So, the weather will be on our side this Saturday when we Yarn Crawl our way to Koigu Wool Designs  http://www.koigu.com/ and Philosophers Wool http://www.philosopherswool.com/
Right in our own backyard, these two fabulous companies live. From the gorgeous handpainted yarns to the extremely beautiful colourwork designs - we have it all.

By the time we retail therapy @ Koigu, we will be ready for lunch in downtown Port Elgin. With a short rest and chat with local knitters we will head to Philosophers for our very own hands on demo with Ann. I simply can't wait. 
There's something to be said for a day in the country with good friends, fab wools, tons of laughter and knowing that we have inproved the Canadian economics in a BIG way!! stay tuned for the pics next week... until then, have a great day...

Who's tired of the cold winter winds and ready to knit a great Spring sweater?  Well, I think many of us are ready for those tulips and crocuses to show up.  Have you heard about Joji's Boxy sweater line up? These easy fit fun toknit sweaters have been designed in several styles and yarn weights.  Have a  look...  The Boxy was Joji's first design like this. It has a unique construction with interesting details and lots of easy knitting.  Boxy  is a very simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves. Sock Heels  Cute heels :)  How many times have you started to knit socks and  everything's going along just fine then -  you arrive at the heel :( Peptalk = Read and re-read the directions,  I can do this!! - I can do this!!...  Well, your knitting the heel flap, okay not bad and then  comes the dreaded....  "pickup so many stitches along the edge" -  Here comes trouble...  well we have planned the class for you!!
