Ruth's folding sheets technique & colour work

We don't just chat about knitting- don't be silly... recipes, kids, dogs, weather, books, weekend stuff,

So, today we learned how to fold bed sheets- first, fold the flat sheet into a small package, then fold the pillowcase into the same size, tuck the fitted end corners inside each other and fold into a similar size as others - take the three packages and slide them inside the last pillowcase---- TaDa!! one very neat and tidy package of bed sheets = brought to you by Ruth

Carol's discovered that she really likes to start to attach her new colour about 6 stitches before she needs to. She carries the soon to be new colour along the back side of the current colour stitches... this saves weaving in all the threads = brought to you by Carol

Spring Sweater Knitting

Who's tired of the cold winter winds and ready to knit a great Spring sweater?  Well, I think many of us are ready for those tulips and crocuses to show up.  Have you heard about Joji's Boxy sweater line up? These easy fit fun toknit sweaters have been designed in several styles and yarn weights.  Have a  look...  The Boxy was Joji's first design like this. It has a unique construction with interesting details and lots of easy knitting.  Boxy  is a very simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves. Practising Sock Heel Knitting

Sock Heels  Cute heels :)  How many times have you started to knit socks and  everything's going along just fine then -  you arrive at the heel :( Peptalk = Read and re-read the directions,  I can do this!! - I can do this!!...  Well, your knitting the heel flap, okay not bad and then  comes the dreaded....  "pickup so many stitches along the edge" -  Here comes trouble...  well we have planned the class for you!!
