Fair Isle Mitten/Fingerless Class




Please join us for a 2 1/2 hour class:

We will be knitting the Churchmouse Mitten or Fingerless
Fair Isle cuff pattern

Thursday Sept 29nd - 10:00am to 12:30pm  = $25.00 

The pattern must be downloaded from Ravelry 
so you can bring it to the class. 



The pattern offers three different fair isle patterns and 
three different edgings to choose from. 

Mix and match many times for a new look

Pattern uses Rowan Fine Tweed fingering weight yarn
We do carry this yarn in stock

Any fingering - sport weight yarn will work

Please come in or call to register for class.

 Purchase your yarn and have it ready to go.

Must know how to knit small circumference in the round either by knitting with double point needles or magic loop method. 

We will be teaching you how to choose colours, knit braids, knit welts, colourwork tips, read complex pattern, read charts, 
 weaving in ends, kitchener stitch, 

Class must be paid for at time of registration

Please bring: pencil, paper, highlighter - We'll have the coffee on!!

Who's tired of the cold winter winds and ready to knit a great Spring sweater?  Well, I think many of us are ready for those tulips and crocuses to show up.  Have you heard about Joji's Boxy sweater line up? These easy fit fun toknit sweaters have been designed in several styles and yarn weights.  Have a  look...  The Boxy was Joji's first design like this. It has a unique construction with interesting details and lots of easy knitting.  Boxy  is a very simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves. Practising Sock Heel Knitting

Sock Heels  Cute heels :)  How many times have you started to knit socks and  everything's going along just fine then -  you arrive at the heel :( Peptalk = Read and re-read the directions,  I can do this!! - I can do this!!...  Well, your knitting the heel flap, okay not bad and then  comes the dreaded....  "pickup so many stitches along the edge" -  Here comes trouble...  well we have planned the class for you!!
