Knit Cafe opens Thursday Oct 27th...

Our drop by Knit Cafe opens on Thursday Oct 27th... Come spend a fun afternoon knitting with Heather. Bring your projects- haul them out of the closet- we all have them- dust them off and head for the Cafe.
We serve coffee/tea and sweets- good laughter- good fun- good learning- can't be bad for the spirit....

We will not have formal teaching as this is a drop in setting- but Heather will be able to get you on the right path if you have strayed.

Who's tired of the cold winter winds and ready to knit a great Spring sweater?  Well, I think many of us are ready for those tulips and crocuses to show up.  Have you heard about Joji's Boxy sweater line up? These easy fit fun toknit sweaters have been designed in several styles and yarn weights.  Have a  look...  The Boxy was Joji's first design like this. It has a unique construction with interesting details and lots of easy knitting.  Boxy  is a very simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves. Sock Heels  Cute heels :)  How many times have you started to knit socks and  everything's going along just fine then -  you arrive at the heel :( Peptalk = Read and re-read the directions,  I can do this!! - I can do this!!...  Well, your knitting the heel flap, okay not bad and then  comes the dreaded....  "pickup so many stitches along the edge" -  Here comes trouble...  well we have planned the class for you!!
