Evening in Paris

This cute little beret is hot off the needles. Tomorrow I will block it but for today, I wanted to share it with you.
This gorgeous yarn by Rhichard Devrieze http://www.rdyarns.com/ in colourway Into the Shadows was just perfect for my memories of downtown Paris in the evening. The dark purple skies, reflection from the river combined with the golden light beaming from the lamp posts.

This is one of a series of hat patterns that will be ready for Rhichard to take to the TNNA show in Long Beach CA.
The beret takes only one skein - now you can make more!! The directions will have two types of decreasing patterns, two types of cast ribbing and two sizes - a traditional beret size and  today's fun slouchy version.

It is so much fun watching the colours evolve. In no time at all, you too can have a new topper to wear.

Now, for my next hat.... hum sideways slouchy I think... time will tell
