Alegría (“joy” in Spanish) is an easy-care yarn in exciting colors, hand-painted to create a celebration of different colors in every skein. It has a rich, cushy hand that makes a delectable choice for socks, babywear, or accessories.


Content: 75% superwash merino, 25% polyamide, hand painted
Put Up: Approximately 445yds/100g twisted reeled skein
Gauge: 28-30 sts per 4" on US #1-3 Needle
Care: hand-wash, dry flat or dry clean

IMPORTANT NOTE: When the workers at the Manos Del Uruguay cooperative skein the yarn, they use the yarn in the skein to tie up the bundle. Therefore, do NOT cut the yarn to unbundle it when winding into a ball. Elise uses a darning needle to loosen the knots.

These easy fit fun toknit sweaters have been designed in several styles and yarn weights.  Have a  look...  The Boxy was Joji's first design like this. It has a unique construction with interesting details and lots of easy knitting.  Boxy  is a very simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves.
