KAL - Knit Along to learn...


So, we decided to host a weekly KAL = "Knit Along to Learn"

 We have chosen several FREE patterns for hats, cowls and fingerless for you to have fun with!!

Perfect projects to learn a new technique!! 

Cables, Texture, Stranded work, Reverse stockinette, Chart Reading, techniques.

We have 5 dates planned for these projects. 
There is no charge for these classes but you must purchase yarn at Grey Heron in order to participate in this offering. 

Must be proficient in casting on, casting off, knitting, purling, knitting with circular needles

Here are the dates - the times are all set for 10am to 12pm

Friday November 15th - Cables - Hat, Fingerless
Thursday November 21st - Texture - Hat, Cowl
Thursday November 28th - Stranded colourwork, Toque
Friday December 6th - Reverse Stockinette - Hat, Cowl
Thursday December 12th - OPEN DAY

Who's tired of the cold winter winds and ready to knit a great Spring sweater?  Well, I think many of us are ready for those tulips and crocuses to show up.  Have you heard about Joji's Boxy sweater line up? These easy fit fun toknit sweaters have been designed in several styles and yarn weights.  Have a  look...  The Boxy was Joji's first design like this. It has a unique construction with interesting details and lots of easy knitting.  Boxy  is a very simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves.
